Exprivia City.
Designing in order to innovate.
Smart environment
Networks of sensors are distributed across the area, monitor the mountain slopes, riverbeds, woods and the weather. Increasingly reliable forecast models propose crisis scenarios and emergency operations. Members of the public are informed and alerted on their mobile devices with clear and personalized indications. Air, water and sound pollution are monitored and minimized also through real-time changes in the behaviour of the public.
Smart economy and smart people
All companies and administrative authorities are connected in broadband to interoperable systems and solutions: work orders, invoices and payments that do not require the exchange of paper, the status of authorizations, files and orders can be viewed on the web in mobile mode. Due to the broad band, the audio, video and data services are integrated, geographical distances are cancelled out and work mobility is reduced. Workplaces are delocalized and mobile and the work organization changes. Work 4.0 is taking shape.
Through the broadband, even small and medium-sized companies have solutions for the automation and control of remote systems. Networks of sensors and smart actuators allow maintenance services to be provided from a remote location. Industry 4.0 and services 4.0 are taking shape.
Smart energy
Production and self-production of energy are widespread and connected, the energy grid is reality. Home automation tools enable household consumption to be optimized and regulated according to criteria of energy and environmental sustainability of the home, district and town.
The central services are activated by sensors and actuators connected to the network; members of the public are informed in real time and helped to modify their consumption for their own good and that of society in general. All this happens without any constraints or rules. Heating and cooling are provided as needed.
Smart administration
All the services of the public administration authorities will be computerized, standardized and interoperable. All relations with the administration authorities will be digitized and it will be possible, from any access point, to request and receive certificates and authorizations, for any municipality in Italy. The desks and offices will simply be mobile or virtual points of contact and assistance, distributed across the area.
Smart life
Elderly, fragile people and those with a temporary or permanent disability will live in areas with devices and tools that will help them to carry out the traditional activities of everyday life. They will have health parameter monitoring and measuring devices connected to the attending caregivers or relatives. Alert systems will be connected in real time with the relevant health and social services. These tools will create new sociality and socialization models, paving the way for entertainment and wellness development models not yet conceivable.
Smart mobility
The public can organize their work or entertainment by receiving useful information on their mobile device, will be able to book or purchase local or national public transport documents, use car – motorbike – bicycle sharing services based on time or route optimization models.
The logistics systems will be extremely well connected both for the vehicles and for the goods transported and goods traceability and vehicle tracking will be facilitated.
The cars will be equipped with devices for cooperative ITS, which will inform the driver of all road and traffic conditions; road signs will be replicated on the computer on board and the cars will be able to react automatically to critical conditions (crossroads, red traffic lights, queues on motorways).
