He is the President and CEO of Exprivia SpA, an international group that is a leader in Italy in process consulting, technology services, and Information Technology solutions for the banking, finance, industry, energy, telecommunications, utilities, healthcare, and public administration markets, with over 2300 employees and a turnover of over €200 million.

After graduating in Information Sciences from Bari, he founded Abaco Software, where from 1990 to 1994 he worked as a computer consultant and project manager on Object-Oriented and Relational Database technologies in the financial sector for companies within the Olivetti group. From 1995, after directing a local internet provider, he became the general manager of Abaco and began working on ERP Systems and the SAP platform. In 1999, he founded a second company, Abaco System & Services, with 40 young employees, assuming the position of sole director. In 2001, the two companies merged to form an SpA led by Favuzzi as CEO.

In 2005, he further merged Abaco into AlSoftw@re, a company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange since 2000, specializing in developing software solutions for the banking and medical sectors, initially serving on the Board of Directors. This operation gave rise to today's Exprivia, of which he became CEO in 2006, adding the role of President two years later. Over the years, the company has established a leadership position in Italy and has a widespread presence throughout the country, as well as expanding its presence in foreign markets with operational offices in Spain, Mexico, Germany, Brazil, and China.

Active in associations, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the Innovative Services and Communication section of Confindustria Bari, Barletta Andria e Trani, of which he was president from 2006 to 2010. From 2006 to 2010, he was a member of the Executive Committee of Confindustria Bari and BAT, and in 2011, he was appointed Deputy Vice President with responsibility for Innovation and Growth. Since June 2013, he has been President of Confindustria Puglia, a member of the General Council of Confindustria National and the Council of Regional Representatives of Confindustria. Since 2011, he has been a member of the national executive board and the board of directors of Assinform, the national association representing the interests of the main companies operating in the Information Technology market, and since 2013, he has been a member of the General Council of Confindustria Digitale. Since May 2015, he has been a member of the Supervisory Board with censor functions at the Bari office of Banca d'Italia. Over the years, he has received numerous awards, including the Professionalism Award from Rotary International District 2120 in 2011 and the "Pugliesi nel mondo" award, as well as being awarded the "Paul Harris Fellow" honor. On May 21, 2015, he was appointed Knight of Labor, and since 2020, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the National Federation of Knights of Labor (currently in his second term) and of the Mezzogiorno Group, where he holds the position of Vice-President. From December 2017 to May 2020, he served as President of Italtel SpA, a historic Italian company operating in the ICT market. In 2019, Exprivia, led by Cav. Favuzzi, received an award at the Chamber of Deputies as a Pugliese excellence in the Industry 4.0 field for its distinguished contributions to Technology and Innovation with a diverse offering in various market segments, representing a model capable of making our country increasingly competitive in digital transformation processes. From 2019 to 2022, he served as President of the Regional Mechatronics District and Digital Innovation Hub of the Puglia Region. Since June 2021, he has been a member of the Assonime Board. In May 2022, he was appointed Vice President of Anitec-Assinform with responsibilities for Sectors and Territories and E-Health. Active in cultural and artistic fields, he has been appointed Honorary President of the "Vincenzo Maria Valente" Artistic-Musical Foundation since 2019.
