Francesco Cardinale
Head of MIU Telco & Media
Born in Marsala in 1963, Francesco Cardinale graduated in Electronic Engineering in 1988 and immediately began working at Italtel.
At Italtel, he initially looked after the development of some proprietary products and later program management in the telecommunications sector.
From 1999 to 2001, he worked at Vodafone Italia in the IT area as manager of IT network systems.
In 2001, as CEO, he coordinated the start-up of the Italian branch of a Swedish group operating in the ICT sector, achieving break-even in the first year and launching a growth phases over the subsequent years.
Later, still as CEO, he managed companies in Italy belonging to international groups: Teleca, auSystems and Devoteam.
In 2014, he joined Exprivia where he was appointed to the helm of the company Exprivia Telco& Media Srl.
In 2019, he took over the role of Manager of Digital Factory Open Network & Platform in Exprivia and then the role of Manager of Marketing Innovation Unit Telco & Media.
