Domenico Favuzzi

One year after obtaining a degree in Computer Science from Bari University, he founded Abaco Software S.a.s.

In June 2005, following the merger between Abaco and AISoftw@re, he became a member of the Board of Directors of AISoftw@re, a company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange from 2000, which became Exprivia in 2006. In September of the same year, he was appointed CEO of Exprivia and, in March 2008, took the role of Chairman.

Since 2011 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Anitec-Assinform (National association for ICT businesses) and since 2013 a member of the Board of Governors of Confindustria Digitale.

From 2013 to 2017 he was President of Confindustria (Industries Association) for Puglia and a member of the Board of Governors for Confindustria Nazionale and of the Confindustria Regional Representation Committee.

Since May 2015 he has been a member of the Supervisory Board for the Bari branch of Banca d’Italia. In the same period, he also received the Cavaliere del Lavoro decoration from the President of the Italian Republic for his contribution to industry.

Over the years he has received many accolades, including, in 2011, the Premio Professionalità presented by Rotary International Distretto 2120 and the “Pugliesi nel mondo” award, besides receiving the “Paul Harris Fellow” recognition.

From December 2017 to May 2020 held the position of Chairman of Italtel S.p.A. and in the 2020 he joins the Management board of the Federazione Nazionale Cavalieri del Lavoro and the Mezzogiorno Group.
