Exprivia will be tasked with developing an innovative digital platform for the management of heterogeneous georeferenced data at a granular level called AMELIA dAta platforM for the transfEr of knowLedge and statistIcal Analysis. The digital platform will consist of an integrated set of heterogeneous georeferenced data in the economic-social sphere and will offer tools, application solutions and ad hoc AI/ML models to support fundamental and applied research in order to enable the analysis of data aimed at studying phenomena to create knowledge to be transferred to private and public bodies to foster resilient, inclusive and sustainable growth.

GRINS is a multidisciplinary project lasting 36 months (from 01/12/2022 to 30/11/2023); it is carried out by an extended partnership involving about 350 researchers belonging to 25 different entities (13 Universities, 3 Research Centres, 7 Data Providers and 2 Technological partners, among which Exprivia SpA), experts in the fields of economics, statistics, data management, policy evaluation (both ex ante and ex post), environment, sensitive data protection, etc., and requiring the development of machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions.

Within the project, the design and realisation of the AMELIA platform and the development of application components that are in any case part of the application infrastructure solution, also realised with AI/ML techniques, is entirely implemented by Exprivia SpA, which is committed as Owner of the whole Work Package 1 that precisely deals with the design and realisation of the digital platform.

Exprivia, the only IT partner in the partnership with specific skills in Data Platform, Data Integration, Data Advanced Analytics and System and Application Integration, has a relevant role in the research, design, implementation and testing of a highly innovative Data Platform capable of integrating any kind of data (structured and unstructured), also through AI/ML models for specific activities starting from the data ingestion phase and up to customised visualisations.
