Born in Molfetta (BA) in 1954, graduated in Electronic Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Turin with a thesis on magnetic bubble memories. Registered with the Engineers' Association of the Province of Bari.
Since 2001, he has been with the Exprivia Group where he currently holds the position of Executive Vice President of Exprivia SpA, President of Exprivia Projects srl, and Head of Public Sector Sales Management, where he oversees the P&L of the Market Innovation Units: Healthcare, PAC&PAL, Aerospace & Defense, Business Process Outsourcing.
From 2014 to 2021, he served on the Board of Directors of the Polytechnic University of Bari.
From 2017 to 2020, he was a Board Member of Italtel spa.
From 1990 to 2001, for the Scientific and Technological Park Tecnopolis CSATA in Valenzano (BA), he was responsible for the Service Centers for companies in Puglia and Basilicata within the framework of EU programs aimed at local development. He coordinated technology transfer programs, the dissemination of technologies, and telecommunication services for SMEs and local government.
In collaboration with IT companies in Puglia, he managed logistics, infrastructure, and activities of the Service Centers for companies in Puglia and Basilicata and those located at the provincial delegations of industrial and artisan associations.
Member of the Sustainable Development Technologies Working Group - EU Project - Agenda 21 representing the Municipality of Molfetta.
From 1994 to 1998, he was President of the Wholesale Fruit and Vegetable Market and the Wholesale Fish Market of the Municipality of Molfetta.
From 1980 to 1990, he was responsible for the Data Management group at Software Sistemi Spa (Olivetti Group) in Bari, where he coordinated the development of transactional components of Olivetti's offering for the banking and retail markets.
As part of the European project ESPRIT, he participated in the design of the Information Resource Dictionary System (IRDS).
For the Olivetti production plants in Scarmagno-Ivrea, he designed an expert system for the development of the bill of materials and the assembly of components.
For the Distributed Computing and Office Automation Division of Ing. C. Olivetti spa in Ivrea (TO), he participated as a computer analyst in the Modular Operating System (MOS) project for Olivetti Linea 1 (L1) computers.
For Sysdata in Turin, a Cap Gemini group, he participated as an analyst in the development of the real-time Production Advancement System (CAP) for FIAT plants in Termini Imerese and Val di Sangro.
